Asked QuestionQ. Is this "NetForum" related to the program
of the same name at University of Wisconsin?
A. Not at all. The choice of the name is just an
unfortunate coincidence. Since the two program serves two
distinct groups of users, namely those with T1 connection plus
their own web server, and those with dinky ISP accounts, I don't
think the possibility of confusion is great enough to justify the
trouble of changing the name.
Q. Is NetForum free? If so, will it
continue to be?
A. Yes, it is, and probably will be. Charging money is
just too much trouble. It would be great though, if you would buy
something at my mom's business, Hang Shing Natural Supplement.
Q. Can I run two copies of NetForum?
A. Yes, you can. The first copy will run as it does,
while additional copies should be run with the additional
command-line parameter "Second," "Third," and
so on.
e.g. "C:\Program files\NetForum\netforum.exe" Second
Q. But what if I want to use the same E-mail account
for both copies, can I do it?
A. Yes. For the second copy, add the following line to
Second_setup.ini:
